About Us

After finishing uni, we turned a small Instagram side project into a very small boutique clothing studio run from our flat in Sydney. We sourced pieces from around the world and sold them ourselves to our lovely friends and family, along with a growing circle of customers who found us through word of mouth.

We always loved discovering footwear that was unbranded, yet looked and felt far more premium than its price suggested.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit and we could no longer keep the studio open, our tiny setup had to close. Back in our shared flat, we spent time figuring out how to keep the business going through that period and also expand beyond our small customer base in central Sydney. That’s when we chose to launch Qomfort as an online store — and then spent months trying to build it, with plenty of failed attempts along the way.

Our goal was to bring the beautiful footwear and comfort-focused products we were able to source to customers around the world, keep pricing accessible, and do it all in the most carbon-efficient way we could.

We care deeply about great customer service, and most of it is still handled by the two of us right here in Sydney. So if there’s ever a slight 2–3 business day delay in getting back to you, please know we’ll respond as soon as possible.
